FABIO HERRERA (1954)

Notorious Costa Rican artist, his artwork has excelled in the international environment, his abrasion is considered as one of the artworks better achieved to Latin-American level, with an own language and a singular blend of New York, oriental, Costa Rican, and Spanish elements. Works in himself with great ease and dedication of diverse techniques: watercolors, engravings, drawing and experimental portrait.

Fabio Herrera´s artwork has been exhibited in countries as United States, England, Chile, Paraguay, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, Germany and Peru, this path has offered him various recognitions like The Costa Rican prize Aquileo J Echeverría in serigraphy and painting, First Mention of Honor in the V Biennial of Engraving of Taipei, Taiwan and Mention of Honor III Biennial of Fine Arts, Lima, Peru.
