SERGIO GONZALEZ (1961)
"In the artwork of Sergio his Latin-American roots can be noted, in them reflects the life, nostalgia, and passion of the people. In many of his artwork the figure of the woman is the center of the work, because for Sergio this is a symbol of life and through its faces and its contour he expresses his way to observe the world. The background of his artwork is landscapes and parts of houses in a magical world, a full world of lines and full forms of color and contrasts which are used as language in his pictures." His first exhibition back in 1982 was his starting point for many others in countries like Costa Rica, Mexico, Ecuador, Panama and England and his artwork can be found in many other countries around the world. Since 1997 Sergio Gonzalez moved to England where continues working.
