RAFAEL "FELO" GARCIA (1928)
Graduated Architect from the Hammersmith School of Building, Arts and Crafts of London, England with a degree in Superior Education Teaching Methodology, with Architecture emphasis. In 1954 was Partner-Founder of the "New Vision Group of Painting" in London, England as well as the symbolic "El Grupo Ocho" of painting and sculpture of Costa Rica. Professor and founder of the Architecture School of University of Costa Rica.
Thanks to his important contribution to the art earned several prizes, among others the Ancora Prize in Costa Rica, and Mention at the I Iberoamerican Art Biennial of the Pedro Domecq Institute of Mexico, besides has exhibited in countries like England, Mexico, United States, Colombia, Panama, Spain and many others.
