RAUL VASQUEZ (1954)

Self-thaught artist and poet, had investigations and exhibits in Italy, United States, Mexico, Central and South America. Born in 1954 in Villa de Los Santos Republic of Panama. Grant holder of the Instituto de Formación y Aprovechamiento del Recurso Humano IFARHU ( Human Resource Formation and Improvement Institue), Panama.

His artwork has been exhibited at the Permanent Hall of Panamanian Art History, of the Panamanian Historic Patrimony; in the National Gallery of Contemporary Art, of the Museum of Costa Rican Art, in the Visual Art Records of the Art Lyceun Al Cardito at Napoles, Italy; and in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama.He has offered poetic recitals, conferences and seminars-workshops in Costa Rica and Panama, had published two poems books (Cerrojo Profundo and En Tu Piel Anonima). Earn the National Prize of Art Painting and Auctions of Panama.
